"Hey didi why can't true lovers, i mean the really real onez, the ekdum asliwale true lovers, make love ???"
WHAT ? who said they can't ?? is what I thought of saying.
But that is not the way you answer a hyper active 13 year old extrovert kid who, by the way, is also your next door neighbour ! soo what do you do ??
well you twist things .. like .. " Hey where did that come from?"
" ahh one of my teacher said they shouldn't before marrage ... but why can't they .. han didi .. why not?? "
array yaar .. YOUR teacher said so ,ask her or better still ask your MOM ! But she wouldn't because both of us knew her momz answer - a tight slap !
how am I supposed to diplomatically answer this one now !
But i knew I had to or this kid won't let me go ...
Now I had to make a choice between the rebellious, path breaking, crazy looking, next door neighbour or the oh so morally correct elder sister ...
common people .. I had to LIVE in my house ... right next to hers .. for years to come ...
yah i chose the latter ... so what reasons did I give for not doing it?
"Well honey to begin with it's all in our culture .. you see it's so different from the west .. and blah blah blah (don't even remember what crap lecture I gave the poor kid .. don't blame me .. she asked for it)"
"ok di I understand but I am talking about the MADE FOR EACH other types"
oh my God .. it's not that easy to get away ..
"Eh .. ammmm ... yah because you can't trust the other person .. you know .. when they might walk out ??" (WHAT? that's the best I could think!)
and then I stuck to this line for all the other questions that followed ... until she gave in ( YES YES )
So much for not imparting that sex education in school ...
n that reminds me of a very serious conversation my friends had a while back:
friend P: Sex education is so important, they should make it a part of the curriculum.
friend S: True .. but they might be having trouble finding teachers for it .. i guess
friends P:(Got a bit too excited) trouble finding teachers ? for what ? the theory or the practical ?
opps .. slip of tongue .. and mind ..

U r right till a height but India has a masked society where people do all the wrong things of western but 'chup chup ke' it is the main problem of our society. Man has extra marital relationship but hidden from wife, boy drinking wine or smoking ganja, cigarette but hidden from parents, girl has appear with some fucking some boy friends and so on..
ReplyDeleteBut no one has the power or confident to confess his/her guilty. Because it is not western society to make any thing part of life but to hide and feel guilty in all the bad things.
Sex is a part of life, love comes to save the human generation in this world, "Survival for the fittest". But this simple matter we hide from our children, from our childhood love, sex, relation, and even talking with other gender is filed as a sin to us. And it become our frustration when we crossed 15-18teen, even many take so many wrong steps at that age. Commit suicide, become mad, become shy, premarital relationship, even some boys choose drinking, addicted by drugs and the most dangerous- choosing the prostitutes for mental satisfaction.
To prevent these things it is not possible to teach everything in School, by the name of sex education. Because as you write, the teachers will face trouble to give them complete knowledge, when the question stops in the practical lesson.
But here one thing is very important that to save young generation from this world of growing pornographical elements like cyber sex, blue films, cd-and-dvd perlours and so many illicit sexual elements which teach wrong sexual conduct to a child like masturbating and all bad things.
To avoid that the parents especially the educated parents easily can teach their children by consulting with them like friends at their most difficult stages of life, because only parents has the power to win over sexual matters from their child's mind... I don't know how far I am right but truth is the key of light if parents teach us that talking with a girl is very bad thing or stay away from the girls then its obviously works on a boys mind whats different inside a girl..
Sorry for using some bad languages in my text but it will help the readers to understand the matter.
The Western Spice Successfully Mixed Up With Indian Taste
ReplyDeleteYesterday evening I was watching the movie ‘The Mistress of Spices’ acted by Dylan McDermatt and Aysharya Rai. My uncle’s son, 6 also was there and at last when the mystery of the mistress is opened by Dylan, the little boy asked “Why he took off her shari?” I just paused the movie and cut the scene and become little confused to give him an answer. And as a quick reply I told him that I also didn’t know why he took off her shari. But he made such a face in reaction that clearly told me that he was not pleased by my answer. He is a six years kid what I can explain him?
